FitBoard ("we", "our", or "us") operates the FitBoard mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google's OAuth service.
Fitness and workout data. Exercises, sets, reps, weights, and other training records you enter manually inside the App.
Usage data. Information about how you interact with the App, including feature usage frequency and session length, collected to improve the product.
Device information. Operating system version, device model, and anonymized identifiers used for crash reporting and diagnostics.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and maintain your account.
To store and display your workout history and progress.
To improve App performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/EEA Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

Contract performance — to provide the App and its features.
Legitimate interests — to improve the App and prevent fraud, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Consent — where you have given explicit consent (e.g., optional analytics).

4. Third-Party Services

Google Sign-In (Google LLC). Used for authentication. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Firebase / Google Analytics for Firebase. Used for anonymized crash reporting and usage analytics.

We require all third parties to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable privacy law. We do not allow them to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and workout data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission).
